TEHRAN – Khodadad Azizi has resigned on Sunday as coach of Payam-e Mashhad football club.

The former Iran striker has quitted his job following financial problems.
“Our problems will hopefully be solved and Azizi will return to the team,” said manager of Payam-e Mashhad.
“Azizi called me and told me he is too tired. We will make an effort to change our coach’s mind,” added Ali Salahi
